Problems We Solve
Refrigerator
Not cooling / too warm
Refrigerator fails to maintain safe temperatures—often due to faulty condenser or evaporator fans, dirty coils, or incorrect thermostat settings.
Everything is freezing
A defective thermostat, thermistor, or control board can cause food to freeze.
Frost buildup in the freezer
Damaged door seals or a broken defrost system allow moist air to enter.
Ice maker or water dispenser isn’t working.
Check for kinks in the water supply line, clogged filters, or a faulty inlet valve.
Won’t run after being transported
After moving a refrigerator, oil drains from the compressor into the coolant lines—wait several hours before turning it back on.
Leaking water
Usually caused by damaged water lines or fittings for the ice maker or water dispenser.
Unusual or loud noises
Dirty or worn condenser/evaporator fans often cause excessive noise.
Door won’t close or seal
A broken door seal, misalignment, or worn hinges can lead to frost and temperature problems.
Light won’t turn on
Usually a loose or burnt‑out bulb; electrical issues require professional help.
Excess moisture or condensation inside
Poor sealing or high humidity creates puddles and frost.
Cycles too frequently
Dirty fans or incorrect temperature settings can cause continuous cycling.
General temperature/moisture inconsistency and dispenser issues.
Additional problems
Faulty compressor, broken control board, cracked water filter housing, unpleasant odors, etc.
Washer
Loud noise or vibration
Damaged tub bearings or an unbalanced load can cause banging and shaking.
Won’t start or stops mid‑cycle
A defective lid or door switch often prevents operation.
Won’t drain
Clogged or kinked drain hose, blocked pump filter, or a broken drain pump.
Won’t fill with water
A faulty fill valve assembly or closed water supply line.
Basket won’t spin or spins slowly
Likely due to a worn motor coupler or broken drive belt.
Water leaks
Damaged hoses, door seals, or pump assemblies.
No spin/poor agitation
Motor, belt, or electronic control issues; unbalanced loads.
Door won’t unlock
Front‑load washers may have a defective door lock.
Strange smells or mold
Excess detergent or trapped moisture encourages mildew.
Leaving residue on clothes
Overloaded drum or blocked detergent dispenser.
Won’t turn on at all
Lack of power, blown fuses, or a faulty control board.
Error codes on the display
Diagnostic codes indicate sensor or component failures.
Dryer
No heat or insufficient heat
Caused by a failed heating element, thermostat, or thermal fuse.
Takes too long to dry
A clogged vent, overloaded drum, or faulty thermostat/relay board.
Clothes come out damaged or burned
Overheating due to defective controls or using the wrong cycle.
Loud noises
Worn belts, drum rollers, idler pulleys, or bearings cause squealing.
Drum turns but there’s no heat
Broken belt, bad motor, or blown thermal fuse.
Drum doesn’t spin
Faulty drive belt, motor, or control board.
Won’t start or stops immediately
Door switch, fuse, or control board failure.
Overheats and shuts down; burning smell
Obstructed lint trap or vent system.
Runs continuously and doesn’t shut off
Defective timer or control board.
Door seal problems or latch issues.
Sensor errors or moisture sensor failures.
Excess vibration or “walking”. Uneven floor or worn suspension.
Sparks/electrical issues
Damaged wiring demands immediate service.
Oven & Range
Not heating at all
Check that the oven is plugged in, reset the circuit breaker, and inspect the heating element.
Slow heating or uneven temperature
Misaligned or broken temperature sensor, calibration issues, or a faulty thermostat.
Gas oven won’t ignite
A defective igniter prevents the gas from lighting.
Thermostat knobs set incorrectly
Loose or broken knobs prevent accurate temperature selection.
Door won’t shut properly
Dirty or damaged gaskets, hinges, or latches.
Tripped gas line or electricity issues
Problems in the gas line or electrical supply prevent heating.
Excess smoke or odors
Grease or food residue too close to the broiler.
Uneven baking or burnt food
Poor rack placement, blocked vents, oversized cookware, or a malfunctioning thermostat.
Range & cooktop
Range isn’t level
Poor installation, uneven floors, or misaligned cabinetry.
Oven light doesn’t work
Burned‑out or loose bulb.
Inaccurate temperature
Misplaced capillary bulb, incorrect control settings, or blocked vents.
Surface burners won’t light (gas models)
Control knob not fully turned, clogged burner ports, or improper burner placement.
Yellow or partial flame
Clogged ports, moisture after cleaning, or incorrect gas type.
Pilot light out (older models)
Requires relighting and inspection.
Electric ignition not working
Unplugged cord, power outage, loose spark switch, or defective igniter module.
Dishwasher
Won’t turn on
Often caused by a wall switch being off, a loose power cord, tripped breaker, or a faulty control panel/door latch.
Not filling with water
Check the float switch, make sure the water valve is open, and hoses are not kinked.
Not draining
A clogged drain hose or defective drain pump is usually at fault.
Not cleaning dishes
Clogged or broken spray arms, overloaded racks, blocked detergent dispenser, or hard water issues.
Leaking
Damaged door seal, cracked spray arm, or under‑body component.
Not drying dishes
Bad heating element, wrong detergent or cycle, clogged drain, or faulty sensor.
Noise and vibration
Worn pump motor, damaged wash arm bearings, or loose mounting.
Bad odors and mold
Food and grease trapped in filters or hoses.
Door won’t latch
Worn latch or misaligned hinges.
Error codes
Electronic diagnostic errors indicate sensor or control problems.
Doesn’t dispense detergent properly
Blocked or defective dispenser mechanism.
Microwave
No power
Ensure the microwave is plugged in, test the outlet, reset the circuit breaker, inspect the power cord, and check door switches.
Won’t start despite having power
The door may not be completely closed; defective door switches or a faulty control panel also prevent operation.
Spins but doesn’t heat
High‑voltage components like the magnetron, capacitor, or diode may have failed.
Sparking or arcing
Caused by metal objects, a damaged waveguide cover, or chipped interior paint.
Turntable not turning
A damaged motor, drive coupler, or improperly seated tray.
Interior light is out
Loose or burned‑out bulb, or wiring problems.
Unusual noises
A failing magnetron, bad cooling fan, worn turntable components, or loose parts.
Control panel unresponsive
Faulty membrane keypad or control board.
Frequent tripping of circuit breaker
Could be a shorted power cord, defective door switch, or failing magnetron.
Keypad locked in demo mode (Control Lock).
Door won’t close or the latch is damaged
Never use a microwave with a faulty door.
Strong burning smell
Indicates electrical failure and requires immediate service.
